Book Now for 2015 Weddings

Are you overwhelmed by how many photographers are out there and why their rates are all over the place?  It can be a bit scary trying to find the right wedding photographer.  These days it is so easy for a person to make a Facebook page, take a few pictures, and call themselves a photographer.  We all started somewhere so I'm not knocking those who are getting started in the business, but this is your wedding.  This is an event that you can't "do over."  I have heard so many stories from people who have gotten married on a budget and said their biggest regret was not hiring a good photographer.  Almost everyone has an "uncle Bob" or a friend who eagerly offers to shoot the wedding for free for their portfolio.  Often people take advantage of such a deal to free up money for other wedding expenses.  Unfortunately the well-meaning friends and relatives are not wedding photographers by trade and will likely run into challenges that they are either not equipped to handle, not understand proper posing or framing, or not understand how to handle any number of wedding day surprises that can and often WILL present themselves.

If you are struggling with the wedding budget and don't know how you will come up with $1500+ for photography, ask yourself what will be left over from the wedding to pass along to your children and grandchildren.  There are very few things from a wedding that remain.  The drinks get drank.  The food gets eaten.  The favors get tossed.  Heck a lot of brides are even trashing their dresses after the ceremony!  Your photos are the thing that remains.  The album gets flipped through on anniversaries.  Your children will ask to see pictures of their mom and dad dressed up fancy on their wedding day.  You will often have a print or canvas hanging on the living room wall.  Now ask yourself, do you want these memories to potentially be out of focus, dark, too bright, grainy, or just blah?  Or, do you want your photos to tell a story of your day, be attractively presented in an archival quality album, blown up to huge crisp and clear prints that your friends and family will fawn over when they visit?

If you are looking for stunning photographs that tell the story of your day and the option to buy gorgeous, customizable, hand-crafted Graphistudio Italian albums, look no further.  I shoot with full-frame Canon gear and a series of L-glass lenses.  This ensures that your photographs will be clear, bright, colorful, and can be printed to large wall hangings without a loss in quality.  Many of my packages also include another professional photographer using the same quality of gear, so all of your photos will be of similar style and quality.

I still have a few openings for summer and fall 2015 weddings.  It is important to book at least 6-8 months from the wedding to have a better chance at getting your selected date.  Some brides are booking a year in advance for popular months like June and October.  If you haven't yet booked your photographer for a wedding taking place this year, please contact me using my contact form.  I do still  have some dates available.   I am based out of Muskegon, Michigan, but I frequently serve Grand Rapids, Grand Haven, Holland, Spring Lake, Saugatuck, Ludington, Manistee, Traverse City, Lansing, Howell, Kalamazoo, and South Haven.
