Love is Love - Engagement Sessions
I recently had the amazing opportunity to take a class in St. Louis, Missouri with one of the authors of "The New Art of Capturing Love", Thea Dodds. Brandon and Michael are a real couple, not professional models, and the love they have for each other shows in the way they interact. Thea did a great job of suggesting various poses and then the rest of us took turns posing them. Although there are no plans for a wedding (that I know of!), this goes to show that doing a couple's session can be great for anyone who wants to get some professional photos done with their significant other.
If you have stumbled across my blog on your quest for a LGBT friendly wedding photographer, know that I stand with you and I would be honored to photograph your wedding day! As you can see by looking through my website, my style is mainly natural poses and emotional moments. I look at ALL of the couples I photograph as unique from one another in some way and approach every wedding with an understanding that different people are comfortable with different things.
Please enjoy the rest of these photos. I took so many and still have a hard time picking my favorites to share. This was by far my favorite class at Shutterfest because I was able to actually practice what I had learned.
Please do not hesitate to contact me via the form on this website if you are interested in hiring me as your engagement and/or wedding photographer. Also the photo below is a slideshow so make sure you swipe through to see all of the photos.
