Although I often do engagement sessions around Muskegon and Grand Rapids, I occasionally get requests to travel.  I LOVE it when people request this, as there are so many beautiful areas around Michigan that make great places for sessions!  I am in the Traverse City area once every month or two (my husband does photo tours at The Village at Grand Traverse Commons) so I was able to scout out locations the night prior to Melissa and Tom’s session.  I was fortunate to find this absolutely gorgeous vineyard, Willow Vineyard & Winery as well as a cider mill (Suttons Bay Ciders) up the road, and both generously offered me the use of their property to do the photoshoot.

Thankfully, after a morning thunderstorm, the weather cleared up beautifully and we were able to not only wander through the vineyard and cider shop, but also pop downtown for a few more photos.
